It seems that India is becoming the home of Tigers. A few days ago, a tiger was caught on camera roaming in the Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary in West Bengal. After almost two decades, such a scene was seen there. Now a tiger has been seen walking in Haryana’s Kalesar National Park. This is the first time after 1913 when a tiger has been seen at this place.
Indian Forest Service officer Sushant Nanda (IFS Susanta Nanda) shared this picture on Twitter. Which is going viral. He wrote the caption, You are seeing the first picture of a tiger after 110 years in Kalesar area of Haryana. Its last sighting here was reported in 1913. In the picture you can see that a tiger is seen roaming in the jungle. Forest Minister Kanwarpal Gurjar also shared this on his Facebook account.
The park is adjacent to three states
Kalesar National Park is in the foothills of the Shivalik hills of the Himalayas. Coming to Yamunanagar of Haryana, this place is adjacent to Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh. There is a famous Shiva temple here. That’s why the park has been named Kalesar. The whole area is full of bio-diversity. Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary is right next to the national park. Spread over 13209 acres, this sanctuary was notified in December 1996.
